Our Veterinary Hospital in Tampa
At Circle of Life Animal Hospital, we are a fixture in the Tampa community, having first opened our doors in 1998 right here in Tampa. We are dedicated to providing the community with the best veterinary care solutions available to our clients and their pets. We promise to listen to your concerns and tailor our treatments to specifically work for you and your cat or dog. We understand that everyone has their own budget needs and philosophies when it comes to pet care, and it is our job to find the very best fit for you and your furry “kid.” Each of our patients are our first priority at Circle of Life Animal Hospital.
Our Veterinary History
Dr. Palma founded Circle of Life Animal Hospital in Tampa, FL in 1998. Initially, three separate veterinary hospitals were housed under one roof on Bearss and Florida Ave. (Three veterinarians who had become friends had a revolutionary idea to open their clinics together in one leased space to allow for maximum care for the pets!) Circle of Life Animal Hospital (COLAH) grew in the community, and after two years, it became necessary to move into two open leased spaces next door to the initial hospital. Our veterinary hospital provides service to dogs and cats in Tampa, Land O Lakes, and Greater Carrollwood. It was a big undertaking since we had previously shared the lab, x-ray equipment, surgical suites, etc. with the other two veterinary hospitals when we were housed under one roof. We wanted to provide the best care available so we purchased state-of-the-art equipment to further our goals. Over the last 13 years, our veterinary hospital in Tampa have formed wonderful relationships with veterinary specialists in the area to provide complete full-circle care for our client’s pets. We also have access to a board certified cardiologist and internal medicine specialist that can come to the clinic to perform ultrasounds and echocardiograms when needed.
Although we have grown immensely in the last decade, most of our veterinary staff of technicians, coordinators, and receptionists have been with Circle of Life Animal Hospital since our beginning stages and we pride ourselves on knowing our clients and their “babies” throughout their life.
As we look forward, we continue to enjoy expanding our veterinary knowledge through continuing education and bringing our clients state-of-the-art care in a personalized, “family” atmosphere.
